My Latest Repurposed Thrift Finds

Since I have moved to my own place I made it a point to find as many treasures I can at my local thrift stores in the design ideas I have for my place and to keep the spending to a minimun. I don;t know about you but I take a whole lot of pride in being able to say that I have done something myself!

My first repurposing project was this chair I picked up for $5.00 at a thrift store in my area.

I went to Walmart and picked up 2 cans of Kryolan 2&1 Primer and Spray Paint in Black, Fabric, and a staple gun. This is the finished result:

This chair looks perfect in my daughters room for her computer and homework desk.

Project #2

My next project was this ottoman I was eyeing at a different thrift store that I picked up for $15.00.

This is the base painted. After I painted the base with Kryolan, I let it dry for about a day or two. Followed up with another coat and let it dry again for another day.

This is the fabric I picked up from Walmart. I purchased 3 yards of this pattern.

This is the end result after removing the fabric, painting the base, and reattaching the cushion to base. It is in my living room...

My patio is my next project...I will keep you updated on it's progress!

Stay tuned for more design inspiration and repurposing projects!
